Myofascial Release is a deep tissue therapy that releases tight fibers so the clients body can unwind. It involves postural analysis and techniques that work from superficial to deep layers. The result is increased balance and pain relief beginning with the first session.
Muscular Therapy is massage designed to address each client’s individual treatment goals by using muscle specific techniques, postural analysis, and self-care techniques. Muscular Therapy combines the most effective sports and deep tissue massage techniques.
Deep Tissue Massage
Deep tissue massage focuses on relieving chronic pain and tightness in the muscles and fascia with Neuromuscular therapy, muscular therapy and myofascial techniques. The pressure of the technique can always be modified with your feedback as your core issues are addressed.
Neuromuscular Therapy is the utilization of static pressure on specific myofascial points to relieve pain. This technique manipulates the soft tissue of the body (muscles, tendons and connective tissue) to balance the central nervous system. In a healthy individual, nerves transmit impulses (which are responsible for every movement, function and thought) to the body very slowly. Injury, trauma, postural distortion or stress cause nerves to speed up their transmission, inhibiting equilibrium and making the body vulnerable to pain and dysfunction. It is therefore helpful to stabilize low levels of neurological activity to maintain normal function
